Fitzroy Tennis Club has over 550 members, most of whom live in the City of Yarra.  Both juniors and adults are catered for at all levels of play through social tennis opportunities and inter-club competitions, including Pennant. 

What are the benefits of FTC membership?

Members are able to:

• play free of charge on any available court (night light fees apply)

• play in FTC competition teams including Pennant, NENTG, NEJTA, HDTA, and Metro Masters

• participate in members-only social activities such as Monday Night Social Competition and Delmo Carli Tournament

• participate in the annual Club Championships

• use the clubhouse and excellent barbecue facilities and surrounds

• access the Tennis Australia National Insurance Program and its special offers

• receive a gate-access fob for each registered adult member

Membership Period: 1st Feb to 31st Jan

Renewals for exsiting members are due by 31st Jan and can only be made on an annual basis.

If new memberships are approved during the year, the annual fees are charged on a pro rata basis.

By joining or renewing as an adult, junior or other member of the Club, you agree to be bound by the Club Rules.

New Memberships

Due to the planned commencement of the FTC development in 2026, new memberships will not be approved until further notice. At this stage, we don’t expect to be able to offer new memberships until 2027.

Waiting List

Due to the large number of people on the waiting list, it has been closed until further notice.

The existing waiting list will be held in order of the date of submission. When new memberships can be approved, preference will be given to those already on the waiting list. However, please note that registration on the waiting list does not guarantee membership.
