If your booking is washed out, or you can’t play for any reason, log in to Book A Court, select “My Bookings” and Cancel the missed booking. You will receive an automatic refund.
After rain, if there is standing water visible on the en-tout-cas courts, YOU MUST NOT PLAY ON THEM. You will damage the court surface if it is wet and slippery.

2024 Club Championships
After the preliminary rounds over the preceding two weeks, the Club’s annual Championships were decided on Sunday 24th March with great tennis in perfect weather.
It was a big year for returning champions with several players successfully defending their titles. The winners were:
Women's Singles - Alessia Jones

Women's Doubles - Michelle Stephens & Quimby Mills-Oddie
Men's Doubles - Adam Huddlestone & Aaron Rodrigues
Mixed Doubles - Pred Basic & Susie McKenzie
A big thank you and full credit to Michelle Stephens, Wayne Stephens, Ann Coveny, Sara Kernick, Adam Huddlestone, Bryce Devlin and Matthew Russell for their work on the draw, scheduling, catering and event management.
Maintenance and Equipment Upgrades
While we wait for redevelopment of our courts and facilities, the Club has been busy with some recent maintenance and upgrades. Most significantly, our 3 en-tout-cas courts were refreshed with some levelling and top dressing in March, removing a lot of bad bounces. New line sweepers will help to stop valleys developing along the tapes, and new hoses make it easier to properly water the courts after each set. Things are looking fresher too with a new windbreak for Court 1 and new scoreboards on every court. Thanks to our maintenance coordinator David Holmes and his helpers for their energetic efforts.

Juniors
The Fitzroy Tennis Club has an active group of juniors who play social and/or competition tennis. Many of our younger members participate in the Racquet Lab coaching program offered at FTC. Learn More
